Teen needed a new backpack after his LLBean one fell apart after just one year. We wanted a replacement that would last a couple years. A friend recommended this backpack, but unfortunately it’s not wide enough to fit the 1.5 inch and 2-inch binders that are required for class. This backpack might fit 1″ binders okay, but not anything bigger than that because it’s too narrow and impossible to zip with the larger binders in the biggest compartment. That said, the backpack had a nice sized laptop compartment and seemed durably made. If we needed a new commuter or travel backpack, it would have done the trick. It does weigh a lot just on it’s own, so keep that in mind if you are looking for something light, it seems to have sacrificed that for improved durability.
I love this backpack! I use it for my laptop at work. There are pockets that I’m still discovering! My laptop fits in it perfectly, it’s still lightweight, but very durable, and there are bonus features on it! I love the carabiner that I clip my work badge to. I love the deep “hidden” pockets. I love the color. I love the durability. I have nothing bad to say about this product. It’s well-made and very stylish!
I have an older version of this backpack from about 7-8 years ago, which is still in good condition but passing it on to family member. This backpack is tough and spacious for carrying many items, also very comfortable.Well worth the price, easy to wash on gentle cycle in cold water and let it hang to air dry.
This has been a great bag. Love the variety of pockets and the easily accessible computer pocket at the back. It is perfect for going through security at work and quickly showing my computer.I’ve had it for a few weeks now and have no real complaints.Still getting used to all the pockets and where I am/will be keeping everything – there are ALMOST too many pockets if that makes sense…too many places to put stuff.The only other comment I have would be regarding the separators in the main pocket. There are 2-3 sections/separators but they do not extend to the bottom of the bag, so if you’re putting something other than a folder/book/notebook/etc there, it can sneak underneath.Overall, very sturdy and great value.
